Sports surface for tennis that faithfully reproduces the playing characteristics of a traditional clay court. It allows year-round play and has LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS.
Achieved by combining Compograss artificial turf with a special mix of clay infill.
System classified in Category 1-Slow by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The marking lines, a key element of the system, are unique in their design and manufacture. Prefabricated and sized to achieve maximum uniformity on the playing surface and ball bounce.
1. Tennislife Grass Clay turf: laid floating on the base.
2. Base infill: a mixture of volcanic aggregate and natural earth with a grain size < 1 mm and a binder derived from sedimentary rock blasting with high plasticity and moisture retention.
3. Clay infill: brick dust from clay fired between 950°C and 1000°C with a sieved grain size of < 0.6 mm.
